
It’s been a Margarita day, so I thought I would share this low calorie recipe I found on Fitness Magazine's website.
Ingredients:
12 ounce can frozen limeade concentrate
2/3 cup tequila
½ cup light orange juice or orange liqueur
4 cups ice cubes
½ medium lime
Coarse Salt
Orange slices
Directions:
Combine limeade, tequila, and orange juice in a blender and blend until smooth. While blender is running add ice cubes, one at a time until mixture is slushy. Prepare margarita glasses by rubbing a lime slice around the rim of the glass and dip in coarse salt to coat. Pour mixture into glasses and garnish with orange slices. With just 122 calories a serving you can afford to have two.
