Dieters and body builders, who are currently on the supplement Hydroxycut, will want to stop taking it as soon as possible. US government health officials warn that it has linked cases of liver damage and one death to its use. The supplement is Canadian-made and the FDA is warning consumers of the dangerous possible side effects. So far they have received 23 reports of liver complications to include the death of a 19 year-old boy in 2007. The case was just reported to them back in March, with other patients having symptoms of yellowing of the skin or jaundice to liver failure.
