I have always enjoyed nature, but have always lived in an apartment until a couple of years ago. Some of the best ways to bring nature into your home are practically free and are readily available. When looking for great natural items for your home, start with nature to see what you can find in your own backyard or on nature walks. There are many plants that grow in the wild that can be brought indoors. Pinecones make a great centerpiece when decorating for the holidays and a bowl of nuts are not only pretty, but you can eat them as well. If you love to cook, then an indoor herb garden could be just what you are looking for. Fresh herbs in the store can add up to a lot of money in a year’s time. Growing your own can feel like you have your own little garden in your home and all the free herbs you want. Mine consists of rosemary, thyme, chives, basil and sage. I use all of them in my cooking and they really add an earthy flavor to dishes. Start off with a couple of plants and see how you do or you can purchase an indoor herb garden at local stores. With the holidays coming they should be going on sale, so keep your eyes out.
Use relaxing water fountains and candles for ambience at night to wind down from your day. The ones that have chimes are very soothing and you can adjust the sound. Find some quartz stones or other natural stones at flea markets and mystical vendors. They are said to bring good energy into your home and keep evil at bay. There are many stones to choose from, such as amethyst, quartz, granite, opal, tigers eye and onyx to name a few. If they have a box of them, try to barter one low price for the whole box and get more for your money. If you like this article, check out click here.
