There are many things that can cause a migraine.  It is a good idea, if you have them often, to find out what causes them.  Some things can help, like caffeine.  However, caffeine can start a migraine.  Women, more often than men, suffer migraines.  Sometimes, it's from the hormonal changes in the body.  It helps to write down everything that you eat and drink, as well as the amount of sleep.  Sooner or later, you may have an idea of what causes your migraines.  There are medications that can be bought, as well as prescriptions that will bring relief.  Also, eating a diet rich in riboflavin can help some people.  If none of these work, talk to your doctor.  There may be an underlying cause that you just haven't figured out, and along with the doctor's advice, you may find the reason for your migraine headaches.
